# Vozly

> Vozly is an iPhone and iPad app; the iPad version can also be installed on Apple silicon Macs and Apple Vision Pro. It is a voice-first to-do list, diary, and dream journal: the user holds a button and speaks a task, note, diary entry, or dream log, and the app keeps the original audio together with a text transcription, saved in the section (and, for tasks and notes, the project) the user has open. There is no Android version, no web version, and no cloud sync.

## Navigation — Five Sections

Vozly has five sections accessible from the bottom navigation bar:

1. **Inbox** — Quick capture. Items captured from the Inbox tab or the Control Center control land here to be sorted later; items captured inside a project go straight to that project.
2. **Todo** — Task management. Custom projects, deadlines, reminders, Eisenhower Matrix.
3. **Notes** — Voice notes in custom projects. Audio saved alongside transcription for replay.
4. **Diary** — Daily voice journal. Speak your reflections, saved as entries you can replay.
5. **Dreams** — Dream logging. Capture dreams right after waking, before they fade.

## Core Features

- Voice capture via a hold-to-record microphone button (press and hold, speak, release). One touch; it is not hands-free. Sliding the held button to the right locks the recording until you tap the stop button; sliding it to the left cancels it.
- Speech-to-text transcription using Apple's Speech Recognition framework (on the device or on Apple's servers, decided by iOS)
- Original audio recording saved alongside every text entry
- Custom projects in Todo and Notes (e.g. Work, Personal, Shopping under Todo); Inbox, Diary and Dreams are single streams without user-created projects
- Eisenhower Matrix — Do / Decide / Delegate / Delete prioritization (free)
- Pomodoro Timer — 25-minute focus sessions (free)
- All Incompleted Tasks — cross-project task view
- Deadline reminders: dates are set by hand (never read from speech), and a local notification fires at the time you set
- Control Center controls that open the app straight into adding a task

## What Vozly does not do

- No Android version and no web version
- No cloud sync (data stays on the device; see the Data note above for speech recognition)
- No hands-free or always-listening recording and no wake phrase; a recording never starts without a touch, and you hold the button while you speak (or slide it to the right to lock the recording until you tap stop)
- No dates or priorities read out of speech; you set them by hand

Vozly is free to download and use. Once you have 10 items or more, it keeps recording but shows the Pro offer once per session after you add an item; recording is never blocked. Vozly Pro removes that reminder. That is the only difference. The Pomodoro Timer and Eisenhower Matrix are free features. Prices are in USD; Apple shows local prices in the App Store (for example in euros in Germany).
